Covid 19 Statement

As it always has been, the safety and security of our guests and team members remain our highest priority. We wanted to share with you the measures we have undertaken to minimize the risk of Coronavirus whilst continuing to provide a high quality of service.

Please note we are taking guest temperature on arrival. Should a guest present a temperature of over 37.5 degrees regretfully we will not allow the guest or any member of the party to enter the premises. We will of course help any guests with a temperature over 37.5 degrees to seek medical advice.

In addition to our current high standards of cleaning we are also introducing the following:

Guest Bedrooms:

• A number of items have been removed from the rooms for guest safety. These include Guest Information Booklet, additional pillows and blankets and complimentary notepads and pencils. Should you wish to access the Guest Information Booklet please ask Front Office who will be happy to email this to you. Additional pillows and blankets as well as the complimentary notepads and pencils are available on request.
• In addition to our usual high standard of cleaning we have implemented a High Touch Point cleaning regime where individual climate control pad, TV remote, hair dryer, door handles and light switches are disinfected between guest stays with special solution effective against Covid-19.
• All items such as glasses and toiletries are replaced between each guest stay.
• Please advise the Front Office if you would prefer not to have a housekeeping service during your stay. New towels can be provided on a daily basis on request with contact free delivery.

Serpentine Restaurant & Bar:

• We are still running a breakfast service, but this will now be table service as opposed to a Buffet Breakfast. The restaurant has been set up to enable 2m social distance and we ask that you sanitize your hands before and after you enter the restaurant.
• Further to this you will need to pre-book Breakfast with the front office. Please ask Front Office for available time slots.
• The Restaurant will be closed after the Breakfast Service
• In order to maintain social distancing there will be a one way system in and out of the restaurant.
• The Serpentine Bar is open, and has been set up with 2m social distancing measures in place. We would ask you to sit only with your party in the Bar.
• A limited snack menu is available in the Bar after Breakfast
• Please do not go to the counter to order drinks. A server will come to your table maintaining social distancing to take your order.

Public Areas:

• Two of our front office desks are equipped with a protective plastic barrier to separate you from our staff.
• Guests will be provided with a personal protective pack (x1 per guest) which includes a hygienic cleansing wipe, x1 disposable face mask and x1 pair of disposable gloves
• Hand sanitizer units are readily available at several locations throughout the Hotels, and you will be asked to sanitise your hands before entering the property
• We are respecting 2m social distancing measures, with signage across the Hotel to encourage this
• The seating area in the lobby has been set up to enable social distancing. We would ask you to only sit with members of your party.
• We will ask for your credit card details on arrival to charge any extras to the room, as the Bar and Restaurant will not be accepting cash payments

Staff:

• Staff are trained in symptoms of Covid-19 and will go home and self-isolate for 14 days should they present any symptoms or if they have confirmation that they have been in contact with a Covid Positive case.
• Staff Temperature is taken before their shift and should they present a temperature of over 37.5 degrees they will not be allowed to work and will be asked to go home and self isolate.
• Staff are maintaining social distancing of 2 meters at all times whilst in the Hotel
• Staff are wearing face masks whilst at the Hotel and will use disposable gloves to handle guest luggage
• Staff are disinfecting their hands after each guest interaction
• Staff are disinfecting the PDQ machine after each guest handling
